It's spring!

Happy first day of spring!

I intended on being here earlier this month to wish everyone a Happy Buzzard Day (it’s an Ohio thing… long story. I’ll save it for next year); then St. Patrick’s Day came and went with nothing green here to show for it. I feel like when the clocks changed, instead of losing an hour, I somehow misplaced an entire week or more.

Enough of that; have you been outside?! Isn’t today gorgeous! What a wonderful start to spring after the winter that never was. To celebrate, and maybe because I happened to receive my tax refund today, I’m excited to share I will soon have a new lens to play with for future sessions. The Lensbaby Composer Pro with Sweet 35 Optic is on its way to my house and it should make an awesome addition to those senior portrait sessions that will be lining up soon. You can be sure I’ll be outside enjoying this fabulous weather while it lasts, just in case Old Man Winter does decide to remind us here in the northeast that he hasn’t lost his touch. Either way, I can’t wait to be searching for that sweet spot of focus.
