Just catching up on sharing some images from the Heritage Festival last weekend. Simple glimpses into days past. If you've never been, make an effort to visit next year. You won't be disappointed.         Fare thee well summer days... God willing, I shall see you next year!

An otherwise trying day at *the other job* yesterday was redeemed when an eagerly-anticipated package arrived bearing a new lens for me to experiment with. (Dear Amazon Prime 2-day delivery service, I love you!) 
Christian volunteered to be my model for a project I'm working on, hence the suit and college tie. He looks so stylin', I'm calling this my GQ photo shoot. 
I did like the lens and can think of some good uses for it, but mid-way through I switched back to my old love. 
I almost didn't include the two shots above, but I thought it would be fun to point out what I noticed: A nice smile for me and the camera on the right-hand side, and a real smile for Natasha behind me on the land-hand side. (Hi Natasha, hope you're feeling better!) 
Best for last. These were my favorites.
